droid 3 very slow to act

My Droid 3 is acting very slowly, i.e., connect to fb, pull up some aps. Is there some way I should be clearning out old downloaded stuff? Do I need a form of virus protection?

My D3 was very VERY slow. I did a phone reset and redownloaded all of my apps and it's been running fine ever since. So you might want to try that. Back up your data before doing a reset btw.

usually just a reboot every day or so fixes it, for me.

download"Super Toolbox" and clear your cache also make sure you are using some sort of task killer as well
