I want to mention after doing a factor reset on my Note 4 yesterday I noticed that I was able to used my fingerprint scanner over only entering an password after connected my email to my Exchange 2010 server. With KitKat I was only able to enter a password in, it wouldn't let me use the fingerprint scanner and after doing some searching people blamed it on Microsoft's EAS which I beg to differ now.

Lucky!

My company uses MobileIron. When I originally upgraded to Lollipop, I discovered to my joy that the fingerprint scanner was active. That meant for the first time I could not have to fumble about with an 8-character, must contain a number, etc password. That was great.

Then I had to factory reset to fix some upgrade issues, and went back to no fingerprint scanner.

It was a glorious week while it lasted. :'(

Same prozess. I had to reinstall the MobileIron App - and no fingerprint scanner enable  *WDF*

And I was so happy about this. DAMNED
