Is the camera app that bad that you can only have either a six or eight megapixel shot? I need small sized photos for work. Did I miss a setting?

No, Moto appears to sadly have removed this option starting with the "new" camera app on the D3 and continuing to the DB. I also would at least like the option for 1megapixel images. You can use a 3rd party app to manually resize the images, however, though that's more work and hassle but at least it lets you preserve your high-res original shots and have a smaller version suitable for emailing as well.

Alternatively, if your lighting is good you could just take a shot using the front camera which is VGA and use that. For a front-facing cam, it has surprisingly good quality in decent lighting.

Wow. Lame. I feel like I should be waiting for the Samsung phone. This is turning to be a letdown

I found a great app. Image shrink is great and I think I like it better thus way not having to constantly adjust my camera resoltuion. I can choose after the fact. The Dev gets five stars. Bionic gets 4
