DROID BIONIC? by MOTOROLA : Verizon

Re: Droid Bionic Up Again on The Motorola Site!!!

Its getting close!!!!

Although there is no tech specs and product info... gerr

Re: Droid Bionic Up Again on The Motorola Site!!!

Nice find! I wish they had specs up there so we could put all the speculations to bed. Almost nothing is concrete due to the nature of the leaks. Manuals from other phones with Bionic stuff thrown in, leaked docs that are suspect at best, etc. I want to know what I'm getting and when I'm getting it soon. The anticipation is slowly killing me. Not really killing me but I am finding it harder to remain patient as the day draws nearer. Can't wait!!!

Re: Droid Bionic Up Again on The Motorola Site!!!

anyone notice the question mark after the screen size?

Haha. How nice. Other than leaked material of upcoming ads, etc... have any of the testers actually confirmed the 4.3" ?

That long-gone leftover model #, XT865, still keeps living on in places. I would've thought that "historical remnant" wouldn't have made it to this particular page(?).

Re: Droid Bionic Up Again on The Motorola Site!!!

Lol they would post a page without really any information

Probably not, considering the question mark next to the display size on Moto's Droid Bionic page, ha ha. :p

PRODUCT FEATURES

4G LTE speed and dual-core 1GHz processor
Multitask and use large screen and keyboard with webtop app
Watch streaming video on 4.3? qHD screen or record in 1080p HD

I love how if I try to go here:

MOTODEV > Log In (i realize its xt865) that i get an access denied page even when logged in, yet if I change it to anything else, it just says page not found. So even if there is a page for the xt875 (yes i tried a few variations), its probably locked as well. Just interesting 'Access Denied' is shown with the above url...

Maybe they don't even know the size of the screen? :P

I'd be willing to bet the ? next to 4.3 is just a formatting error thing. Sometimes if you copy and paste a quotation mark from a different program (when it auto-formats to be directional) it won't be recognized. It's not uncommon to see this with other characters as well (for example the hyphen which gets extended when you put a space on either end).

So it probably should read 4.3"

It may be the page was accidentally posted prematurely - while still in production mode. Whoever put the "?" there was waiting for confirmation. Would explain the lack of detail and the disappearance of the page so quickly.

Yah, I was only messing around. Personally, I think it was just fat-fingered. Look at the location of the quotes and question mark on your keyboard.
