Droid charge $150 on amazon

The title says it all. Amazon selling new on contract for $150 and 200 on contract upgrades. Good til Wednesday.

Last Monday they ran a special and it was FREE.

Last Monday they ran a special and it was FREE.

No it wasn't, that was a lie by phandroid to boost traffic to their site. The cheapest it was was $179 for a new contract, $199 single upgrade, $249 family lines.

However, I managed to use that to get the phone for $149 though, I printed out the page and went to HH Gregg, and asked them to price match Amazon, then asked them to take my NE2 discount, since they're the only secondary retailer I know of that can actually honor it. He said they could only do one or the other, so it would be $199 or $249. I told him if he couldn't beat Amazon then I may as well buy it from them, and prepared to leave. But he said to wait for him to call his boss, and to my surprise the guy gave him the go ahead to do both! So I got the $199 price match minus my $50 NE2 credit, for a total of $149 last monday.
