Droid Charge & BB VM 605 speakerphone mount

Droid charge is not recognizing bluetooth connection for BB VM 605 visor mount speakerphone. I followed all the directions on both devices. How to correct this or do I give phone back. What other 4G phone with Verizon will accept connection? I do not wish to purchase another visor mount speakerphone if I can help it.
