Droid Charge, Droid 3 or wait patiently for Droid Bionic?

These are my current thoughts on the lineup of these phones. Keep in mind that I haven't tried out ANY of these phones yet.

I really like the Droid Charge, but the fact that it isn't a dual core phone somewhat bothers me. I will be locked into the phone for 2 years and I would like to have the latest/greatest technology for the time being. I have no idea if having a dual-core phone will actually benefit me nor if my usage will take advantage of it. One of my favorite features of this phone is the gorgeous 4.3" Super AMOLED screen. I also hear the battery life is pretty healthy on this phone which is important. Having LTE is also a great plus to this phone, but I am unsure of how often I will use it. I don't live in an LTE area (closest area is about 45 minutes from me. Would I pick up a signal from that far away?).

The other phone I am considering is the Droid 3. I like the fact that it has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. I do quite a bit of texting and my current phone (OG Droid) also has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard which I always use. I have no idea how difficult it will be transitioning to a phone without one (but I am open to the idea). The phone doesn't have LTE which is a bit of a letdown. I think having a dual-core phone is a bit more important than LTE, but it would be nice to have both. I have heard the pentile screen isn't too hot on this phone either especially when compared to that of the Super AMOLED on the Charge. I also wonder if 4.0" screen is too small compared to the 4.3". Does it truly make a big difference?

Lastly, is the Droid Bionic. I have been eagerly anticipating this phone since its announcement. I was dead set on this phone when I found out it was coming 8/4 (I can upgrade on 7/30 so waiting a few more days isn't an issue). There are rumors saying the phone will not release now until 9/1. It seems as if this phone is never going to release and I'm growing tired of waiting. I want an Android phone already! This phone does seem to have the best of both worlds touting both LTE and dual core. I just don't know if I can wait that long.

I am just at a loss on which phone to go with. Should I just upgrade to a Droid Charge or a Droid 3 or wait it out for the Bionic?

Thanks so much for all your help and input. I truly appreciate it!

If you can wait I would get the bionic and would not get the Droid 3 as it has no LTE and just wondering whu wasent the thunderbolt on your list

The Thunderbolt wasn't on my list because I have heard the battery life was atrocious from almost everyone. Is that not true?

Thanks for your input!

It's gotten better but any phone that has LTE and a big screen battery life is not going to be great

I know battery life isn't going to be the strongest aspect in smart phones especially when compared to basic phones. I always heard the battery life was just poor compared to that of the Droid Charge especially (which seems to have the strongest battery life of the Verizon lineup according to my research). I'll check out the Thunderbolt a bit more though. I hope the Bionic doesn't have a poor battery life. It seems as if that is going to be one of the biggest Android phones for Verizon in quite some time. I just hope it doesn't disappoint.
