Droid double posting ringtones using all memory!

Hi everyone... hoping someone has an idea as to a fix for this. Every time I load up my ringtones they double post in the select screen. I only have them saved once to the phones card and have reformatted the card and the phone several times in an attempt to correct this. The reason it is so troubling is that it uses almost all the available memory when it does this.

I can't seem to delete the dual posts like I can with music which it is also double posting.
