Ok, so here is the deal. Last night, I wanted to try the Froyo BB 0.2 on my Motorola Droid. I made a backup of my current stock 2.2 that I was using and went ahead and downloaded the BB rom. Everything installed fine, but I didn't want to keep it so I went to restore back to the old and it wasn't there. I know it was there before because I looked. But, truth be told it wasn't there. So, I was stuck on BB 0.2 and that's not what I wanted. Now, I went back to stock 2.2 and my phone is going berserk! I deleted all my app backups off my sd card because I didn't need them and I was gonna re-back them up. That's the only thing I downloaded. Now that its back on stock 2.2, my beautiful widgets and fancy widgets doesn't work. Like, they will be on the home screen and then they will just disappear after a random reboot. They show they are installed but they aren't in my widgets list when I go to menu>add>widget. Any ideas on what to do? I've done a wipe data and cache and reloaded the rom but it doesn't seem to have work. Is there anything I can do through clockwork or sp recovery? It's just really weird and I need to fix it. Can anyone help??

Go into Settings-Applications-Manage Applications and check the On SD Card tab. If anything is there, select the app and then choose "move to phone". A lot of apps don't like being moved to the sd card.

I never put the apps on my sd card yet. They are already on my phone unless it moved to the sd card by itself.

I think the new BB installs the apps to sd unless you turn the option off, so you might want to check to see if maybe when your apps were re-installed they were installed on your sd card. (If you wiped data before installing the new BB)

Which he said that it happened when he loaded a stock 2.2 rom which shouldn't auto install to the sd card but the symptoms are similar to when I moved a bunch of widget based apps to the sd card.

BB installs the apps to your SDcard by itself.
So just uninstall any apps that may be there. Or select, Move to Phone :)
