Droid maxx clock widget redrawing

I remember I had this issue since the first Razr Maxx & then the HD and now this one: every time I'm on a certain app like chrome or Facebook for a long time, & then press the home button, my clock widget disappears and reappears again. How can I fix that, I thought that wasn't gonna exist on this phone like in the previous ones and its annoying, so idk if anyone has the solution to this. Please and thanks.
