Not completely submerged, and for less than 5 seconds. However, the screen immediately started acting up. Of course I can not remove the back to get the battery out. I did pull the sim card via the tray behind the volume buttons. I figured the more open air places to potentially drain from, the better. I had it in rice within 30 minutes.
I've also heard that rice doesn't really work??
It did buzz occasionally for a while, as if it was still trying to be on. Took me several tries, but I think the thing is finally off, as it does not seem to be doing this any longer.
Chance of my phone being fried? I've had it less than a month.
Anything else I should do to improve its chances?
