Hi. I'm an old school UNIX admin. I've been running OSX on my
desktop and my notebook is a Macbook Pro. Naturally, when I
picked up a cell phone, it was an iPhone.

Two days ago, I picked up my first tablet - a 32GB Nexus 7. Figured it was about time I checked out Android. In just two days, I'm sold on it.

As soon as I can update my phone, I'm going droid. IOS is stable, well supported , inflexible, and boring.

Thanks for the welcome. But I haven't even begun to look for a new phone yet. My 'love affair' with Droid didn't start until yesterday, and I only got the iPhone (4) about 2-3 months ago*. I'm a ways out. So far, the only thing I've thought about is that I don't want it to be any larger than the iPhone.

* Until the begining of September I always relied on my employers to carry the phone and contract for me. Lost my job and finally said 'screw this' and picked up my first cellphone.

So far, the only thing I've thought about is that I don't want it to be any larger than the iPhone.

My policy with things like this is, always buy bigger than you think you need. I thought my X2 would be huge, now I want something bigger. I thought my 50 inch plasma was big, for a while, now I wish I had gone 60 - 65 inches.

If you want a larger TV, just move your seats forward.

Right now I use my TV as a second monitor, it's on my computer desk. When gaming or watching something, I sit in my chair with my feet up on my desk just about touching the TV. Wouldn't really be possible to get much closer, lol. It's a good size in that scenario, but, if laying on a couch or something, it could definitely be bigger.
