Wait till you see Neocore ... video shortly

I saw this video on Youtube yesterday. This thing is pulling some awesome quadrant scores with stock software. The menus also seem to be extremely smooth when I see videos of it being used.

Thanks Phil. This device is high on my radar for my upgrade in January. Just not sure I can go back to a 320x480 screen after a D1. What are your thoughts on the Screen after using it?

Honestly, if you are due to upgrade in January, I would wait. The dual core and/or LTE phones are set to start coming out early next year.

Thinking similar

Also have my eyes on the Droid Incredible HD and any Android LTE device that hits the market in that time frame. The portrait always available keyboard is the big lure here.

You'll have to wait for the review to get the whole shebang, but I'm surprisingly pleased with how OK I am with the smaller (and lower-res) screen. Not saying it doesn't take a little getting used to, though.

Explaination

Can somebody clarify what these benchmark results mean? I don't understand exactly things, such as why the Nexus One has a much larger cpu (blue) bar than the others, especially considering it is an older device. Also, why the Droid X is slower than the Droid Pro and Nexus One while it also has a 1 ghz processor and is newer than the Nexus One:confused:.

well answer to first question is: nexus one has a larger cpu bar because it is the only one on android 2.2 froyo in this test. froyo is a big jump from android 2.1 so be happy if you have it.

the droid x has a worst score than the droid pro because it too is running android 2.1 eclair.

if you go download the quadrant standard app in the market it has the new scores from devices with 2.2

in reguards to the op, id be more impressed but its like the droid x with high input output speeds.
and the resolution sounds reasonable as its a much smaller screen
