Droid Speech Recognizer

My Droid no longer has the Speech to text functionality in Search, Maps or other speech enabled apps.

I rooted my Droid and then returned it to stock. Afterwards, the speech to text functions were no longer available. Has anyone experienced this problem and if so how to did you resolve it? I have searched on most forums and also Google but found nothing.

i had this problem, i just hard reset my phone, it came back after that.
