Droid (stock 2.1) flipped out tonight

My Droid completely flipped out on me tonight. I tried to open the messaging app and instead Facebook opened. I killed Facebook and instead of the SMS app (stock app) goggles opened. I had to restart the phone.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Only time I've seen wacked behavior like this is whenever I update my home app (be it HelixLauncher or Launcher2). Normally reboot makes it nice and happy again.
