DROID TURBO 2: Call Quality?

Re: Call Quality?

This made sound silly but the mic is in the back of the phone so how you hold your phone might be an issue. Also, if you have a case on the phone double check the mic hole is not some how covered up I know it may sound silly but its worth a check. So far I have not had any issues with call quality.

The mic for calls is on the front. The one on the back is for noise cancelling.

Re: Call Quality?

Yea I can see why you would think. I know firsthand it's on the front cause when i got the phone i made a call before i took off the plastic on front and my wife couldn't hear me.

My earpiece has been pretty bad. With HD voice off/on and advanced voice off/on. Hopefully the replacement will be better.

Anyone have an LG 2/3/4 or HTC that they can compare to? I have access to G2 and HTC rezound ( i hear most htcs have good sound) and the Turbo2 is duller and much quiter

I just ordered my second warranty replacement. :) I'm soooooooooooooooooooo tired of people telling me they can't hear me or understand me. SPeakerphone works great. Bluetooth works great. But speaking in my phone when using it as a phone sucks. WIll go to Motorola directly if this next replacement is the same. Help!!!

Just to ask the question, you know that the microphone is the opening on the bottom left of the phone? Is it possible that you are blocking it or not speaking into it when you talk on the phone?

I believe there is also a noise cancelling mike on the back. If you block that, or maybe of your voice echoes off your hand back to that mike, it may be that it is cancelling out your voice as you speak.
