Droid Turbo 2 won't complete startup

My Turbo 2 won't complete startup. It get's to the Motorola M screen and won't progress any further. It was sent to Motorola and they said it was water damage and that they wouldn't fix it... I'd been carrying it my shirt while going on a long walk and it might have been exposed to some sweat and humidity, but certainly no extreme moisture.

It's had a hard reset with no luck. Any thoughts on what else to try to fix my phone?

I'm sure that sweat *can,* theoretically, damage a phone a bit, since it is moisture, but I don't really understand how it could be severely damaged as to the point that it won't load, and that they are claiming it as "water damage." I am sorry to hear that!

Have you tried leaving your phone in a bag of rice for 24 hours? See if the rice trick helps.
