Droid Turbo incapable of lollipop

My geek programmer buddy tells me that there is a hardware problem that is inhibiting a lollipop upgrade. Not gonna happen according to him in spite of empty promises.

Could be. But very unlikely for a phone that's still in warranty. Motorola will probably just write around the hardware problem. (Or file for bankruptcy.)
