Droid Turbo speaker sounds distorted, what could it be?

Droid Turbo speaker sounds distorted

OK so I bought a turbo online, everything worked great. Well about two weeks ago I was talking on the phone while it was on speaker. It went really quiet and distorted. I have tried to replace the speaker once but I believe that one was blown already. I have a new one coming today, but if that doesn't work does anyone know what it might be?

Welcome to Android Central! Is sound normal through wired or Bluetooth headphones? If so, then it's most likely a damaged speaker, as you suspect. What do you mean when you say you've tried to replace the speaker once but you believe that one was blown already? Do you mean that you actually replaced the speaker in the past 2 weeks, but you think the replacement speaker was blown as well?
