so I bought my droid ultra the last week in August, and it crashed yesterday, it wont turn on or anything. I dint back the phone up so, didn't know if there was a way to retrieve the memory from it?

Welcome to Android Central! That sounds frustrating. Have you tried holding the power button down for about 15 seconds?

Thank you and yes I did. it will go for a bit then it freezes up and shuts off. it will vibrate even when it is turned off. I didn't know If it may be due to the latest update? anymore thought or suggestions would be extremely helpful. I would be very grateful!

Try booting into Recovery and follow the instructions to Wipe Cache Partition:

Unfortunately, the PwnMyMoto root method removes the stock recovery. When you "boot into recovery," it actually reboots with write protection disabled.

Edit: Nevermind. Thought this was another thread where the OP had rooted and taken an OTA upgrade that caused boot looping.
