Droid voice, how to turn it off

I found the answer before my droid x came , but now it's here i cant find that thread any where. Please help this is my first droid coming from a Blackberry and i am trying to learn about the device. Thanks in advance

From the home screen, press the menu button.

Press Settings

Go to Sound and Display

Change your phone and notification ringtones. They are, by default, set to the "DROID!" ringtone.

Funny. I'm the nerd of the house, but that was the first thing I turned off. My wife loves the "DROID" sound on her X.
