Droid won't turn on after unrooting

Hey guys. I've been flashing roms for the last couple of months. I started off with AdamZ Smoked Glass and then went to Bugless Beast. Today I found a 2.1 rom that had the nexus one launcher and thought I'd try it out. I flashed it, decided I didn't like it, and went to go back to one of my other roms. When I rebooted in recovery everything looked different and SirPsychos was showing some 0.10.something. I then attempted to unroot by changing to the update.zip file I have used before, upon rebooting after unrooting with this update the phone booted until it got to the "eye" then shuts off. I have to do a battery pull before I can even attempt to turn it back on. Any ideas?

Yep sbf it that's pretty much your only hope. Did you restore the recovery. Make it a goof practice to never do that

Can you get back into recovery and try to restore a backup of a good rom installation? If you can, restore and flash a good recovery image with rom manager or dmupdater. If not you should be able to abd a good update.zip

I got it using .sbf. Thank you guys so much! You seriously just saved my tail. My girlfriend yelled at me and told me to stop f***ing with my phone so much. I'm sure I'll stay stock for a couple days, then flash Bugless Beast again. Thanks again folks!

Posted this using the HTC IME keyboard? I have the same problem - love that keyboard, but I keep hitting the period button.

Agreed. I'm moving back to swype, as I find myself texting with one had more and more.
