For such an impressive device with so much multimedia capabilities, that is just a plain boring advertisement.
Curious looking advertisement.. yes, but certainly not enough to make me go "hey, I want one of those".

got my hopes up too. Oh well i put my email in when the site was first launched and i still haven't gotten an email from them. I think they should at least send out emails talking about the capabilities and hyping it up. Oh well

According to a post at Phandroid, there was a pre-order there originally, but they had to shut it down because of the flood of pre-orders.

I personally find that hard to believe; I doubt that many people were camping the front page of Verizon for days and F5-ing every five minutes.

I find that hard to believe since I saw that a 6am est this morning and I just linked to the droiddoes site. Unless there was that many people pre ordering before 6

I signed up to be notified, and just received and email saying I can upgrade on the 15th (even though I'm not eligible yet). The email directs you to the Droid X commercial on youtube. Can't wait!
