droid x paranoid and pin scratch

I have a question how paranoid are you with your droid x. I am constantly worrying checking for dust and scratches and reading the forum for problems. I just went through six screen protectors to get one with no lint.
As i was putting on my screen protector i found a small dot that looks like a scratch or small speck of dust. It can only be seen with the screen off and is the size of a pin mark. Should i return or get over it. Thanks

I am the same way. If you can swing it return it lol. I would. Now that you have seen it, it will bug you. Also use scotch tape to get dust off the old protectors.

It is so small and can not be seen with the screen on only when screen is off. I may keep it and just get over it. Does anyboday else see a mark or spec only seen when screen is off

The glass is gorilla glass. (Google it) pretty tough to get a scratch like that on the phone. Id be willing to bet its on the screen protector. Besides if it was on the glass the light from the phone would be refracted from the angle of the chip and you would definitely be able to see it. also I doubt Verizon would take back your phone because of that. scratched glass is considered wear and tear not something that would be covered by manufacturers warranty.....its not a blackberry storm

I didn't when I installed the screen protector, but I do now. I seem to have a tiny scratch on the screen protector. It doesn't affect performance or use at all. Just ignore it.

I bet its a spec of dust then. It is on glass.it can also be seen with the screen protector on either.

I love how the X looks without a case but I usually drop mt phones so I haveee to keep it in a case. Not worried about dropping it
