I can't seem to download the file for the droidx theme anywhere. I keep "no servers with requested data are available."

Could someone please help me find a live link to download it

And on a side note... I've been trying to download the multi-touch keyboard and have been unsuccessful

what rom are you using, that needs to be established before somebody can give you a link to install it otherwise the theme might not work.

and on a side note, please do not make duplicate threads about the same exact thing. it was approx. 3 hours apart which displays that it was not an accidental double post. thank you

Brett sorry to bother you but are there any Step by Step guides to rooting the Motorola Droid 2.1 on the forums? I need to know exactly everything that i will need to do it with and how to do it so that i don't wreck my phone due to a missed step or something of that nature. All i know is that i want to root my phone and update the software stuff to the froyo 2.2 stuff. Definitely would appreciate the help my friend. :)

PS. I'd also like to be able to add the Droid X theme to my phone...

i had the theme on my droid. it was terribly slow wiyh boot up and very laggy when i was scrolling through the home screens and apps i got rid of it...

i think there is an app in the market called easy root that will do all the work for you. i would google it before doing it. i did not use that method because it was not available when i rooted my droid. ive actually rooted it 3 times. 1 time when i was on 2.0.1 (the first time i rooted) using droid mod's app that was in the market (not available anymore). the second and 3rd time was using RSDlite which i would not recommend to anybody who is unsure of what they are doing. it can potentially brick your phone (though if you follow directions it should be fine). you use rsd lite to flash sprecovery onto your device and then you can reboot into the recovery and load a rom with root access. your best bet is to google it because there are lots of nice resources out there and also new ones being developed
