hey guys i got a new droidx off of craigslist like yesterday and all i can say is WOWWWWWWWWWWWWW way better than my STORM 2.

i played with this phone for two days and i thought i had it all figured out but everysingle time i pick it up, before i set it down i learn about a feature it has but i never knew about for example the visualizations that play when listening to music, and hust recently i learned that apparantly the keyboard has SWYPE
man i wonder what else im goig to learn this is the first phone that i've had that just continously amazes me, i mean im a gadget guy i love gadgets, build hobby grade rc cars, robots, work on computers etc but this is the first device i've owned that i actually dont know all the features it has lol.

and the best thing about is is that it only cost me $160:D:D:D:D:cool::cool::cool::D:D:D

unfotunately im now on metro pcs, due to overcharges on my old phone company, and i'll have to get this bad boy flashed over so im afraid it'll lose some features :( hopefully nothing good. i dont care for verizon apps though

btw sorry for any grammatical errors im in a rush here :o

You'll be amazed by probably any of the Verizon Android phones lineup if
you're coming from any BB Storm, period.

I agree... I too came from about 8 years of BB, last was the storm 2... NO COMPARISON!! the X and other androids are amazing. Never though I would say goodbye to my BB but glad I did

Yep. Welcome to the "club." The X is spectacular and leaves the ol' BBs in the dust. I got my X three days after release in July and I'm STILL playing with it, finding new things, and exploring all it's capabilities, checking out new apps. It has replaced (at the least), my camera, video cam, scanner, iPod, tape recorder, old cell, daybook with contacts and calendar, and on and on and on...

It's beyond amazing!

Coming from a S2 myself, I think the DX is amazing. Once I get used to the controls, I'll be better off. I keep hitting my home screen button thinking it's my menu button.

Wait until you try Navigation with the Satellite layer turned on - jaw dropping awesome - so glad I spent my money on an X instead of a new GPS.

Oh I have. That was the first thing I did and I thought it was great. Pretty much going to replace my GPS.
