Drop down day ahead

I am sure this is possible. But on iphone when you drop down you have your day ahead, appointments etc. Love or hate ios it was extremely useful. How do I do it on android. I use Google calendar currently.

Yeah when you pull down from the top to see your notifications

Oh the notification shade. You want to see your schedule for the day? But that would take up too much space and block out notifications.

Why not just use a widget? Does the same thing. Some other apps create a notification on the drop down for the next event, like the app named Cal.

If you used Samsung's built in Calendar app (S planner), you could set it to show the day's schedule on the Edge Panel.
