Dropped my EVO in the toilet

So I dropped my EVO in the toilet last night. Thank god I hadn't used it yet.

Anyways, I took the battery out immediately, and dried it with paper towels. and Put it in rice almost immediately. Last night there were two small pools of water under the screen by the corners. This morning when I looked at it they were gone. I put hte battery back in and turned it on. I was able to turn it on and the screen worked fine. I made a short call, also worked fine. But there were streaks under the glass still. I took the battery back out and put it in a new batch of rice. Any more ideas? I really can't afford to get a new phone, and Sprint wont cover water damage.

Have you thought about repair instead of replace? Perhaps it could be dried better if disassembled, or maybe a screen replacement would do the trick. Would hurt to look into. Good luck, and welcome to AC!
