Dropped my S4 in the toilet, what should I do?

Dropped my S4 in the toilet..

Hi there, I dropped my Samsung Galaxy S4 in the toilet probably around a month ago. It's only about 4 months old max. I went into the store I bought it from and was honest, saying that I knew it had water damage. They identified it was the main board that needed replacing, and quoted me more than I paid for it so obviously I declined. I have taken the phone apart and cleaned the board with a toothbrush, and that still didn't do the trick. There is no power at all. Basically, I just want to know is there anything else I can do? I'm a student so don't want to pay an excessive amount. Thanks, Laura

Unfortunately it's most likely dead if it has been like that for a month it's very unlikely to recover on its own. I think your only option is to try and shop around for a cheaper repairer.

Don't flush, It may stop up the toilet or the sewer!
