Dropped my S7

Not dropped it exactly. I was using it to stream music to my portable speaker in the bathroom whilst having a bath. The bass vibrated the s7 off the toilet seat onto the wooden floor landing on the corner of the phone at the bottom.

And nothing happened to it. Not a scratch. Not a ding. No broken glass. Granted it was only about 18 inches to the floor but these phones are so fragile I was surprised that it survived it unscathed.

And no. I did not have it in a case. I use a belt clip when I move about and take it out to use it.

I have an S7 Edge as well but will not be testing it to see if it could survive the same fall.

Looks like the GG4 is doing well in a short drop. Went commando once and that's all it took put a case to protect it.

Just depends how it falls. You could probably mimic the same action and have a different result. I have seen a phone fall 2 stories and have scuffs (yes we were all shocked even though it was in a case .. it was a minimal case) .. and then I have seen one slide off the lap of someone sitting down and come off the floor shattered.

Exactly. That's why I won't be testing my Edge the same way.

Dropped mine off the bathroom sink and it dinged the bottom corner. It all depends on how it falls. You got lucky.

Don't I know it.

I do. I like to chop and change tracks when I'm in there.
