Looking for a kit, well rated by android central, that would help me make this phone usable again...

Unless you regularly open phones and repair them, in which case you probably wouldn't be asking, about the only "kit" is a repair shop and payment for a repair. Sorry.

Get an off-the-cuff "guesstimate" first, though - the phone is only about US$50, and a repair would probably cost more, so replacing the phone is cheaper. (You do have everything important backed up to at least 1 cloud account, right?)
