AC Question

okay, so clumsily bumped my Samsung in the toilet yesterday. I got it out after about 3 seconds and immediately started drying it and turned it off, I then put it in a bag of rice and kept it there for a few minutes then sprayed the charger and headphone area with canned air (did get some water out). Its been siting in a big bag of rice all night, but now when I try to charge it says that my phone is overheating and my charging is paused. Its still off and sitting in rice. what do i do?? (everything else works when it is on)

Rice absorbs the water, but not the impurities in the water, so unless you're VERY lucky, parts inside the phone start getting destroyed within seconds of getting wet. As sfoLAX said, you can try alcohol (the link), but I also suspect that you're out of luck.
