Dropped my X!

As I was getting out of my jeep yesterday my phone dropped and slid face down under the car next to me! I have a few dings or nicks in 2 corners and some marks along the edges but my screen is perfect . I am debating picking up a thin case. I have an otter box commuter and hate it. This is a phone I plan on keeping for a while then passing onto my husband or son so I am not too concerned about resale value. It feels so perfect in my hand without a case. What are your thoughts?

Aside from the tempered glass, I use XtremeGuard screen protector for the back Moto X. Motorola Moto X Screen Protector I use it specifically because this screen protector provide grip.

If I really need more protection, I just use a bumper.
