dropped phone, what to fix?

I dropped my phone, the screen cracked and there is no display now, just a bit of back light. Can i just replace the glass digitizer or is the LCD shot too?

You need to replace the LCD too
Just to confirm ask the person who is going to repair your phone.And ask him if there is another cheaper way.
