Dual band wireless router

I am wondering about the WiFi settings on my Droid Ultra. If I were to change the the option shown in the picture, would I be able to tell any difference in the speed of the WiFi network ?

Or is it not even worth changing. my router is a dual band and I think I read that if I change it to 2.4 only, it'd work better.

Depending on how you set it up you can get faster speeds. 5ghz can get better speeds, especially since it usually has less interference
