Dual GMS/CDMA capabilities

Amazon is advertising an S5 that has both GMS and CDMA capabilities. One reason I am interested in this phone is I spend 8-10 months a year on my sailboat and am in the Bahamas and other non US countries. My idea was I could get Straight Talk service when in the US and BATCO in the Bahamas/where ever. But my lack of technical knowledge has resulted in me asking this forum if this is a reasonable plan.

I would also note that I am a Comcast subscriber (my condo association buys service in bulk at a good price) so I can use xfinity to watch TV if I have wifi and the home port for my boat has lots of good Comcast hotspots, so I would like a nice big screen. Also considered a Note, but not sure if there is one for both GMS and CDMA.

Any help or suggestions welcome.

The Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 has both cdma and gsm radios and is factory sim unlocked.

Keep in mind that cdma can white list esn, and if not on the list then it might not work on their network. Also, if you buy a sim locked version then you would need to unlock

So it looks like there may/are some limitations on the G900V. The Q&A at Amazon concerning this phone had several answers to the question 'will this phone work on Straight Talk'; some of the answers were yes and some of the answers were no.

What I am looking for is a single phone I can use on a no contract carrier like Straight Talk (or another one) when I am in the US that also has the ability to run on a GSM service when I am in the Bahamas or out of the US. I would also like a nice big screen.

Does anyone know if such a phone exists.
