Dual layered pages? or floating page

Googled and dearched forums to no avail. My wife's S5 recently developed a problem i have never seen or heard of. It has a floating page over her regular pages. Her regular page the one underneath is non accessible. The icons on the bottom phone, contacts, messaging, voice mail and the app pages icon are non responsive. You can touch and use the icons on the floating page. You also can see her home page underneath. Ty and the Lord bless and keep you.
