Due for an upgrade...S7 or S7 edge?

So I know the Edge has a bigger battery but not sure if I'd like the curved screen. Thoughts?

I was also hesitant about the screen but it has been good in the last day or so of use. I think you should go to the store and test them both out for sure.

I have both and love both. Edge is slightly ahead for me due to the slightly bigger screen and bigger battery. Battery also seems to drain slower on the Edge as I have exactly the same apps on both both doing exactly the same thing. I'll be doing a day long test this weekend when I leave them alone for 24 hours and see which one drains the fastest.

At the moment I can't leave them alone...

I say the battery and extra screen real estate are worth it. Coming from an S6 Active with same screen as S7, it seem slike a much bigger phone even though it's basically same size...

On day 2 of my regular S7 was thinking edge since I had note 5 and iPhone 6s+ for the last month's buy I will say I am surprised so far, on day 2 I am averaging 6 hours of SoT which seems better than my note, easily full day off the charge.

I went normal since I like tempered glass and wanted a smaller form factor, I still second guess my decision a bit but lbs of far it's nice, I imagine the edge would get me close to 7 hours if this gets me 6.

Dont mean to hijack a thread but I have a question I cannot find an answer to anywhere! I want to get the edge but does the edge work the same as the S6 edge? By that I mean does it give you a preview of text messages emails etc? All the reviews and no one has said anything about this

It still has the edge brief feature. Pretty has everything that was on the s6 except you have much better edge panels now.

Most of the answers in this forum are going to be for the edge. Lol

Curious if you can have a Twitter feed run on the edge? On iphone I have tweetbot and twitterific both of which have auto advancing on wifi. Does Android have a Twitter client that has auto advance and that will work on the edge panel?

I got my edge yesterday and am already hooked on the screen. I've seen a lot of reviews say that the edge isn't that beneficial. Personally I like to stay at two uncluttered screens. The edge is nice for apps, bookmarks and contacts.

I'd say edge. That battery security is a great feeling for a power user like me. It's such a wait tho if you want silver or black. The size is quite manageable compared to my nexus 6p I had.

Yes there is a panel for twitter.

Is there a Twitter client with auto scrolling advancing of the timeline?

Are you talking about Edge Panel twitter? If you click on the setting, you can go and download "Trends from Twitter" panel. To do this just swipe right to left to the edge and goto the setiing. Click download.
