Due for an upgrade...S7 or S7 edge?

The only reason I wouldnt get the edge is if you either really dont like big phones, or if you are somebody who is usually pretty hard on your devices. (I haven't seen a lot of cases that protect the edge 100%)

The screen is cool and the battery life is absolutely stellar! I've never had a phone last this long. Light use I can have 70% at the end of the day, heavy use I can have 20-30% and that's with over 6 hours SOT.

I say the battery and extra screen real estate are worth it. Coming from an S6 Active with same screen as S7, it seem slike a much bigger phone even though it's basically same size...

No, the S6 Active has the same screen size as the S7 (5.1"). The S7 Edge is significantly larger at 5.5".
