Is there a way to show video from the phone directly onto a big TV? I.e. using the USB port?

I know that you can always copy videos from the phone, but I'm looking to see if you can view the phone's screen on a TV?

afaik no there is not a way to do this because no current display devices can use data in the format used by usb. If your TV has a usb in port however, it may be able to read the phone like it was a camera but it's questionable.
