Duo and Samsung phone app

I have duo on my fold. When I click a contact in recents on the phone app I get a blanked out icon that if clicked says video calls not available. If I click the icon on the right for more info, duo becomes available. Does anyone know why and how to fix this?

4 and 5 bars and I get this issue.. Duo works, just not from that screen
