duplicate email notifiations

Since the update on my Charge I have been getting double notifications of my gmail emails. Any suggestions of how to get it down to just one notification?

Just a hunch here...make sure you don't have the notification option selected for Gmail app AND regular email app.

Here is what worked for me. Go in to gmail to settings:
Account > Labels to notify

I had both Priority Inbox and Inbox sending notifications. Uncheck one of them and the duplicates are gone.

I think I had both because I have two gmail accounts receiving emails on my phone.
