Hi there.

Anyone has some experiences with the backside?
I am really feared that this back is realy weak.
On another preview there is already a cracked visible.
On xda they say they are getting catches easily on both sides.
What's wrong with this glas?
Anyone accidentally dropped his H8?
I am in the had situation to choose either the p9, or the h8....
In Germany it's a difference of 120 bucks (399 to 519).
And in Germany there is no warranty for the first three months of back and front glass. That's just for the p9...

It's glass. Glass breaks. Put a cover on it and treat it with respect. It's a silly idea, the plastic phones were much more durable...

I have scratches but no cracks. Do what @Tim1954 said if you get one.

"On the Honor 8 though, the glass panels are the highest points on both sides of the phone—the corner is glass, basically. We imagine dropping it would not go well" - arstechnica.com

Like with all phones, if its glass it's going to crack if you drop it on anything with enough force. I don't think its Gorrilla Glass 4 or higher on the back so i would advise getting a cheaper cover to protect it. They do say it goes through a 15 layer manufacturing process. Buuut put a case on to be safe :P

Being glass on the back, going bare back would likely get scratches sooner or later. Or you can get a thin case
