I am a little mystified as to various posts that I have seen where posters on the internet have expressed concern with regard to dust, lint fluff etc affecting the Z Flip.

I have two Z Flips from May 2020 and a Flip 3 from August 2021 with no problem regarding fluff, lint etc.

Any comments out there?

I started with Fold 2 and now I have both 3s once you start using them daily you realize they just handle normally and are more durable than peeps make it out to be... I ditched the baby phone early on.... Just use them and enjoy..

Its due to the flip 3 NOT having dust resistance. Water yeah, dust no. So everyone is rightfully nervous about sand, dirt, dust etc.

I've wondered the same thing. I might think differently if I lived on the beach and took my phone with me to build sandcastles.
I'm happy it's water resistant.
But..
I don't see all of the fluff about the fluff so far.

I guess if you carry it in your pockets, after all its a pocket phone, just turn your pockets inside/out to remove debris every day. I hope its not a huge deal so I mainly wipe the phone down a couple times a day.

When out of the house I kept my Flip³ in a microfiber sunglass case. I do the same things with my Fold³s. I don't feel the need to do that with my iPhones so when I don't want to be bothered putting them in/pulling them out of the my cases I just use the iPhones.

I originally made the post as I id not see as to why fluff/lint etc should make any difference.
Well, there is a possibility that dust/lint could get in the hinge and cause some damage. I don't sand and dirt are the only threat here but perhaps I'm mistaken.
