Yeah so I think there is a decent sized peace of white dust or something under my camera lense glass on the bottom. Notice it when I went to put on my camera protector. Ugh time to wait mad long time for a replacement.

Honestly I can’t tell which lens has the dust particle in the pics but wondering… is it the lens that has the microphone hole on the bezel??

Sorry I circled it. Looks like a crumb or bread. Hard to get pic of.

Yes and Samsung doesn't do exchange and they are giving me a hard time bc the prices went up and they expect me to just return and reorder but why should I pay more?

That's the 10x lens, right? It probably won't be noticeable in photos since this extreme 10x focal length lens has a narrow field of view and far enough minimum focusing distance. But I would probably return it too; the psychological aspect would bother me.

Same issue. Black 256gb model. White dust is in my 3x.

I'm curious if there's a possibility that the dust is coming through the microphone hole that's located on one of the lens rings? And then floating around in that entire area. I mean reviews do mention that you'll get a lot of debris built up around the lens rings. You would think that the microphone hole is filtered for such things but it's weird to see a couple reports of it.

Why would there be an opening that connects a mic hole to the area behind a lens? And if dust could enter there, wouldn't you expect water to be able to pour in as well?

Well at the base of the top left camera bezel there is a notch for the microphone so was just a thought off the top of my head wondering if there could be an issue with the seal of that microphone hole letting debris in.

Off topic but now I'm curious to know that if you use a case or camera lens covers to protect the cameras, does blocking the microphone affect microphone quality when recording?

Same problem.
Let me tell you guys "Not worth it !"
It has been 2 weeks since purchase, still exchanging emails to get it resolved.
