Exactly like the title sais I have some DVD's at home that I would like to put on my android for those times I am away from home. Anyone know any good programs to use? I would rather do it for free before paying for a program, but not against buying one either. One other thing I would prefer a program that can be used on a mac but can use Windows 7 if need be.

I don't know but am now curious about this myself, Ill check back in a few with what i covered up............

I still cant believe DVDFab has went up to 80.00, I cant even consider that price... DVD Catalyst 3 was only 10.00, no comparison in my book.:)

Handbrake. All the way. Do it. Handbrake it the best, at least for Macs.

I've use both Handbrake and DVD Catalyst Free (it is the free version for the Droid X), and DVD Catalyst is by a gigantic, unbelievable, super power level, way, way, way easier to use than Handbrake. You basically, click one button, no options to mess with and the video they rip looks incredible on the X.

For ripping DVDs to the PC (which removes the encryption and copy protection), I use DVDFab. For converting between different video formats (especially to files that will play on my Evo), I use DVD Catalyst (a lot of people use handbrake, but I like DVD Catalyst better). Here are the links:

DVDFab: DVDFab DVD & Blu-ray Copy

DVD Catalyst: Tools4Movies, Official home of DVD Catalyst

Why do you need DVDFab to rip when DVD Catalyst does it all for you . Just to update bought DVD Catalyst $9.99 yesterday. Put my DVD in the drive selected my phone it copied the DVD to my hard drive in the correct format for my phone. When it was done I dropped it onto my SD Card and I watch it on my phone works awesome.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but talking about methods for bypassing copyrighted protection and duplication in the forums is not allowed. sorry guys.
