DX on Metro PCS

Is there any way to get your DX running on Metro PCS??? I love my phone, but really want to switch to the $50 unlimited Metro plan. I realize overall coverage isn't as good, but Metro is pretty good in my area.

Thanks, but tried that. Was told that metro doesn't support it, but that they have had reports it is possible on rooted devices

After some googling it seems its possible but quite time consuming and difficult. I guess it would be easier to get their lil droid phone if u left. but ur not goin anywhere are you lol

Not w/o my DX. Just tired of the price tag from Big Red. Been a customer for nearly a decade, but this will likely be the last round

i know how

hey it is possible to have your droid x on metro fully flashed meaning everything works (gps,mms,sms,apps,navigation,email,etc) and i only pay $40 a month.

on the downside im on 1x because the droid x does not support metro pcs 3g bands, but over here in texas my 1x connection is still pretty fast.

i flashed my phone myself so trust me it's possible

DON'T DO IT !!!!!!! I just went thru this with my droid x had it fully flashed and the only thing that worked normal was making a phone call, I had to resend text messages two or three times before it would send it and using the Internet on the x with metro is extremely slow. Maybe metro works good with a metro phone? with my X on metro the phone wasn't even performing to half its potential.
