Ok. So, when I put my HTC Incredible into drive mode, the G (onboard) drive comes up fine. When H (the SD card) tries to come up, I get all kinds of windows error and windows wants to try and repair the card. I've finally decided to try and let it repair the card since when I skip the repair, I'm able to see the contents of the card but not able to add to it. I was looking around for a bargain MicroSD card and found the following on IceMonkey.com .... 16GB MicroSD Card Hi-Speed Class 4 - Quick, Compact & Tons of Space . It seems like a generic card but $12 for a 16 gig card seems a good deal...too good. Does anyone know anything about this card? I don't want to buy it and then it craps out on me a week later. Should I just go buy a card from the AC store instead and pay twice as much? Thanks for the assist.

I stay away from generic cards with no name.

Class 4 means it will transfer at a minimum of 4MB/s which is a bit slow, albeit I'm pretty happy using my Sandisk 32gb Class 4 right now. But you'll want to get class 6 or class 10 cards.

If you live in US, best place to get that stuff is newegg.com.

You are going to get difference answer for what brand to choose, but personally Patriot and Transcend are two brands I trust, since they make high quality rams too. Some people like A-Data,I think they're okay. Sandisk is okay too. I had bad experience with Kingston, Wintec and RiData (sometimes the card is okay, but due to poor construction they actually breaks). I accidentally break an AData microSD in two, the fullsize RiData began to brittle and fall apart.

Also flash memory at brick and mortar stores are extremely over priced.
