E-mail, can't forward a message and edit it

I feel really dumb on this. This is my first Android phone .. I've always had Windows Mobile in the past with Pocket Outlook. I love this phone but can't fingure this out..

When I recieve e-mails, many times I need to forward them back out and edit what was sent to me on the original e-mail (deleting some comments, etc..)
I can't figure out how to do this. Like I said, I feel dumb.

I have two e-mail accounts and both are IMAP

yes - i would like to be able to do this too. i'm using Gmail on the Gmail app. i don't think there's a way to do it. perhaps in future versions.

Is there a different e-mail client you can use in Android to allow this?
