I have a moderate hearing loss and was using a $20.00 pair of Koss Pathfinder earbuds on my HTC One M7 with great results. But when brought a Nexus 6P and tried the same earbuds, the volume went way down. Now I'm struggling to hear the movies on Netflix, Hulu and Utube. I'm hoping someone can recommend a budget pair of with volume control that would be better then the Koss Pathfinders I was using. Not really concerned about quality. Just extra volume but quality would be a welcome addition. Hoping someone can reply before cyber Monday as maybe I can get them on sale.

Thanks

First - the volume control doesn't increase the volume, it decreases it from normal (earphones with no volume control). If you have the VC all the way up with the Koss, that's as high as it can get. Earbuds with a VC can only lower it from that.

Second, hearing loss is normally at the high end so, in addition to an increase in volume, you need an increase at the high end.

Third, "budget" and "better than Koss" are usually mutually exclusive. Sennheiser is usually pretty good, but the Momentum In-Ear is $70 - not cheap.
